Product Overview
Polyester-based polyurethanes (TPU, CPU) and engineering plastics such as PET and PBT degrade through autocatalytic chain scission driven by carboxyl end groups in hot, humid environments. YZ-CD-100 reacts directionally with those carboxyl groups via its carbodiimide function; at 1-3 phr loading, tensile strength retention after hydrothermal aging rises above 90%.
The dust-free granule form supports automatic dosing in cable jacketing, timing belts, films, and biodegradable PLA/PBAT compounds. Our technical team can recommend optimal dosage based on customer hydrolysis failure data.
