Shandong Yuanzhen New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. announced that the phase-2 distillation unit at its production base in the Xiaying Town New District, Changyi, has completed full commissioning and started formal operation. Built around multi-stage continuous distillation with automated fraction switching, the unit raises overall capacity for 4,4'-difluorobenzophenone and other fine chemical intermediates by 50% over phase 1.
The unit is paired with inline analysis and plant-wide batch traceability, with all critical control points captured automatically. Product lead times shorten from three weeks to under two, enabling more stable tonnage supply programs for downstream PEEK and pharmaceutical intermediate customers.
According to the production lead, the unit was designed to advanced energy benchmarks, cutting steam consumption per ton of product by roughly 12% versus phase 1 and further consolidating the company’s delivery capability in niche intermediates.
